Custom "Beach Billboard"


A beach billboard can be a message, a name, an inscription, or a logo. It can be heart-shaped or fish-shaped or can be incorporated into a castle. (See lots more samples here...)


We can include it in your sandcastle lesson (at no additional charge) or we can do a professional job of it  -- price depends on complexity.

Private Group Lesson - 2 hrs for 1-10 people

Families and Friends

You and your friends/family will learn basic soft pack, hard pack and hand stacking techniques as well as basic-to-advanced carving skills using tools that we provide. Enjoy plenty of hands-on fun at the Galveston-area beach of your choice.


Lucinda "sandy feet" Wierenga "wrote the book" on sandcastle building. She has taught thousands of people how to have more fun on the beach - and she can teach you, too!        ​

While our home base is South Padre Island, we are delighted to share some sandcastle magic with you! You will find sandy feet - or a member of her crew - at Stewart Beach every Saturday, all summer long. We will be providing free instruction to anyone who is interested, courtesy of the Galveston Chamber of Commerce.


Since we are going to be in the area anyway, we thought perhaps some of our Galveston friends might be interested in private lessons, beach billboards, or some combination of the two. Drop us a line and we will see if we can schedule you in.
